Vintage car clock that was made in W Germany and marked Comfort.
The case is plastic with a magnet in the back to attach it to a
dashboard. It measures 2" square. It runs and keeps good time. The
case is all plastic. I did not open the watch, but I am guessing it
probably does not have any jewels. Overall nice condition.
Vintage Phinney-Walker car clock that is in very
good condition. Great Art Deco look. It is running but it is running a
little slow. It was made in the USA. The mirrored glass measures 2 1/2"
wide. This is a pull wind clock, the black knob underneath is connected
to a string which is pulled to wind it. I think this was made by
Westclox. The original mounting bracket is still on the back. The
silvering on the mirror still nice. Beautiful clock. Sold as-is
because I did not have it serviced. This clock will probably need
to be serviced in order to keep good time.
Vintage Lux car clock that is in excellent condition. It is
running and it keeps good time. It was made in the USA by the Lux Clock
Co. The bezel measures 3 1/16" wide. The chrome teardrop shaped bracket
/ backing plate would be mounted on your dashboard and the clock is
removed by turning the small knob at the bottom. The clock pulls out and
then you would wind it. There are some bend marks on the bezel where
someone tried to pry the clock out of the mount without turning the
release knob, but overall it is in very good condition. Sold as-is
because I did not have it serviced [although the former owner may
have had it serviced].
Vintage Jaeger car clock that is in very good condition. It is
running and it keeps good time. It was made in Switzerland. The bezel
measures 2 3/8" wide. The chrome is in good condition with some minor
spotting, but it should polish up to very good condition. The glass has
some scratches but overall is in good condition. It is marked Fleetwood
Body Corp 8 Days Jaeger on the dial. Sold as-is because I did not
have it serviced.
Vintage Phinney-Walker 8 day car clock that is in excellent
condition. It is running and it keeps good time. It was made in the
USA. The bezel measures 2 3/4" wide. It is rim wind, you turn the fancy
shaped bezel to wind it. To set the time, there is a slide switch and
once the switch is moved, turning the bezel will change the time. There
are a few scratches on the glass. There is some wear on the plating and
the luminous has yellowed but overall the clock is in very good to
excellent condition. Sold as-is because I did not have it serviced
[although the former owner may have had it serviced].
Vintage New Haven car clock that is in very good condition. It is
running and it keeps good time. It was made in the USA. It is 8 day
and is marked "Jeweled" but I did not open it up to check the jewel
count. Original pivoting bracket is still in place. The bezel measures
2 1/2" wide. The nickel plating is worn but it has a nice patina and
it's not real noticeable. The glass is excellent. Sold as-is because
I did not have it serviced [although the former owner may have had
it serviced].
Vintage Ansonia car clock that is in very good condition. It is
running and it keeps good time. It was made in the USA. The case
measures 2 5/8" wide. The case appears to be brass or bronze. The
glass is excellent . The dial is excellent. Sold as-is because I did
not have it serviced [although the former owner may have had it
serviced].
Vintage Westclox car clock that is in excellent condition. It is
running and it keeps good time. It was made in Canada in 1967. It has
a magnet on the back which is covered with a cloth tape so it won't
scratch your dashboard when you attach it. This is all original. I
never saw this one before. Sold as-is because I did not have it
serviced [although the former owner may have had it serviced].
